SMi Group reports: SMi's MilSatCom USA Conference will be taking place on June 28^th - 29^th  2016 in Arlington, USA. This highly popular defence conference will look to provide the latest updates on the MilSatCom programmes

A dedicated spotlight session on International Allied Collaboration and Perspectives is just one of the highlights of the conference, with U.S. Air Force International MilSatCom Chief Deanna Ryals exploring the topic in an opening keynote address on Day 2 entitled "The Importance of Allied Cooperation in MilSatCom". The presentation will cover the importance of understanding allied requirements early in the acquisition process, important ways to involve allies in early acquisition planning and current approaches for bringing allies into existing Next Generation MilSatCom.

Michael T. Laney, Lead International Engagement for MilSatCom, U.S. Air Force HQ, will update the event attendees on U.S. DoD International Relationships, benefits of partnerships, principles of international engagement and MilSatCom international engagement initiatives.
